The Switchover Help Scheme has closed.

                 
 

Digital TV switchover was the process of converting the UK.s terrestrial television system to digital. Analogue channels were switched off TV region by TV region and replaced with free-to-air digital TV and radio services (Freeview).

The switchover programme concluded with the final switch taking place in Northern Ireland on October 24 2012.

The Switchover Help Scheme was run by the BBC on behalf of the Government to help older and disabled people to make the switch to digital TV.

The one year aftercare service provided by the Switchover Help Scheme has now concluded for all customers.
